FAQ

Yes. We dna test our cats using a full panel DNA test. We do not believe in only DNA testing for breed specific concerns (HCM and PKD)
DNA testing gives us the unique ability to have a peak at what’s going on beneath the surface. If this cat has a medical emergency, will their blood be able to clot properly? Oh no! My cat is limping? Was it a simple fall or is there a hereditary joint disease causing the issue? We can proudly say that we do not breed ANY genetic conditions. Not even carries of conditions.
We don’t just claim to not breed any conditions, if you want to see proof of testing, ask. We have no problem sending proof of testing. If you ask a breeder and they won’t share their test results, that’s a red flag. We offer full transparency.
We also FIV/FeLV test our cats. All of our cats are negative. We retest every 12-18 months for every cat, even if they have already tested negative.

We believe responsible breeders spay and neuter their kittens.
Young kittens are better surgical candidates. They have been shown to recover quicker, with less pain and have less complications.
Pediatric spay/neuter greatly reduces your cats risk of getting cancer. Female cats who are spayed before their first heat cycle reduces her odds of developing breast cancer all the way down to 0.5% and her chances of getting ovarian and uterine cancer is completely eliminated. Neutering a male cat earlier prevents testicular cancer, decreases the possibility of perianal tumors and hernias and may help prevent prostate problems.
Having the surgery done before the kittens go home is also less stressful for their new parents. There’s no worrying about when to have the surgery done or how much it will cost. You don’t have to sign strict contracts that withhold registration papers until proof of spay/neuter is given. We did extensive research and met with several vets before reaching this decision. We would never do anything to jeopardize the health of our kittens or negatively affect their quality of life.

Kittens will be ready to go to their new homes when they are 13-15 weeks old.
Kittens must be paid in full by the time they reach 12 weeks of age, no exceptions.
-
Separating a kitten from their mother or littermates too soon can lead to anxiety, stress, aggression and having accidents outside of their litter box.
Getting your kitten at 13 weeks or older ensures you have a better kitten both physically and mentally as well
If a breeder is sending their kittens home younger than 10 weeks, it’s a good indication that they are breeding for profit. 10 weeks is too young. Even cat registries recommend keeping kittens until they are at least 12 weeks.
